This is an exhaustive topic. I will be breaking it down into smaller topics, then explaining each.

OVERALL BENEFITS OF SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION:

One major benefit of optimizing your website for the search engines is that you will get more traffic to your website. More Web users will be able to find your site.

Another benefit of search engine optimization is that when your website is optimized, if you have a link to a message board on your website, more web users will find your message board. That translates to more web users becoming members of your message board.
